  autoconf の function.m4 をみてみると、

  などとかかれています。EWS4800 は SVR4 系だった気がしたので、このあた
りにひっかかっているのでしょうか。

  autoconf を EWS4800 に対応させるのが一番いい方法なんですかね。持って
いないのでできませんが...
