Hi Folks, 

 Thanks for the prompt responses to my previous
queries on the installations. 

 I am having problems with searching the japanese
strings. I did all the installations without setting
the LANG=ja option. Now when I set the option to ja I
try to run the mknmz command I get an error message
saying : "Not a catalog file"

I have reverted to LANG= & then tried using the
following command :
$env LANG=ja mknmz -O /some/index/dir /some/data/dir
however I still get the same error message : "Not a
catalog file"

I tried reinstalling the namazu with the LANG=ja
option; then during the make check; gave the following
problems :

followed by the different errors such as :
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target
`check-TESTS'
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target
`check-am'
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target
`check-recursive'
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target
`check-recursive'


my current configuration for the mknmz are ( i.e. the
output of mknmz -C ) 

$ mknmz -C

NKF: module_nkf
KAKASI: module_kakasi -ieuc -oeuc -w
ChaSen: module_chasen -j -F '%m '

I went through the manual, tutorial but could not
solve the above problem. Can Anybody please help me
out.
