Searching with Japanese text

I have installed Namazu 2.0.12 in my RedHat Linux 7.2. When I do a search (Through the browser connecting to Apache Server) with English text then I get results back. But if I use Kanji text then there are 0 results.
Running the mknmz to check the configuration, I get the following back:
#mknmz -C
System: linux
Namazu: 2.0.12
Perl: 5.006001
NKF: /usr/bin/nkf
KAKASI: module_kakasi -ieuc -oeuc -w
ChaSen: no
Wakati: module_kakasi -ieuc -oeuc -w
Lang_Msg: en_US
Lang: en_US
Coding System: euc
CONFDIR: /usr/local/etc/namazu
LIBDIR: /usr/local/share/namazu/pl
FILTERDIR: /usr/local/share/namazu/filter
TEMPLATEDIR: /usr/local/share/namazu/template
Supported media types:
 text/html; x-type=mhonarc

Can someone tell me what needs to be configured so that I can also do a search uning Japanese text.
