Message-ID: <98a90c220604131548m1f97ea5fnf4aebce47d067a3a@mail.gmail.com> Hello, I recently integrated namazu search into Mailman. And, I am able to get namazu to search the mailman archives. However, I am seeing a peculiar problem that I want to ask to the namazu community. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The first time when I search the archives for a string, namazu reports: *Query:* [How to search] *Display:* 10203050100 *Description:* normalshort *Sort:* by scoreby date in late orderby date in early orderby title in ascending orderby title in descending orderby author in ascending orderby author in descending orderby size in ascending orderby size in descending orderby URI in ascending orderby URI in descending order Results: References: [ (can't open the index) ] No document matching your query. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Then, immediately if I hit the search button again, namazu reports: *Query:* [How to search] *Display:* 10203050100 *Description:* normalshort *Sort:* by scoreby date in late orderby date in early orderby title in ascending orderby title in descending orderby author in ascending orderby author in descending orderby size in ascending orderby size in descending orderby URI in ascending orderby URI in descending order Results: References: [ magma: 15 ] * Total 15 documents matching your query. * * ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ * * And fron now on, I can successfully search for any string. Has anyone seen this behaviour? Any thoughts and fixes are appreciated.* * Thanks Tom * * * -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Perhaps, it is likely to have searched it on the HTML page that you had made first. It is likely to have searched since the second times on the HTML page that namazu.cgi had output. The mistake is found in the HTML page that you made, and the index might not be found. The mistake might be found in idxname of CGI parameter. Please compare NMZ.head* of your made HTML page. The mistake will be noticed if it does so. -- ===================================================================== TADAMASA TERANISHI yw3t-trns@asahi-net.or.jp http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~yw3t-trns/index.htm Key fingerprint = 474E 4D93 8E97 11F6 662D 8A42 17F5 52F4 10E7 D14E
